Last-Minute Holiday Centerpiece
Last-minute holiday centerpieces don’t need to be expensive to be beautiful … use what you have!
A tray always works as a nice foundation. Don’t have a tray? Try a large platter, a charger, or even just a placemat.
Find 3 clear containers. Apothecary jars are trendy, but if you’re more of a Mason-jar-kind-of-person, use those in different sizes. Glass candle holders or even lanterns will work.
Fill your jars with baubles. Here we used bows, small ornaments, and chocolates. (I confess. I purchased the bows especially for this centerpiece and not all the chocolates made it into the jar). Choose items in the colors you plan to use on your table.
Add a few greens. Nothing feels more seasonal and warm than evergreens. These were clipped from my front yard. No evergreens in your yard? Stop by your local Christmas tree vendor and ask for clippings. They will gladly let you haul away an armful.
Voila! A beautiful centerpiece that came together in 15 minutes.
